Valohai allows users to belong to one or multiple organizations, each with its own environments, projects, data stores, and security credentials.
As a new administrator, you can ensure your organization is set up effectively by following these steps:
Access Your Settings
- Log in to Valohai
- Navigate to the top-right menu and select “
Hi, <name>
”, then choose “Manage <organization>
.”
Administrators Checklist
- User Management:
- Create a team (optional).
- Add new users to your organization.

Consider requiring two-factor authentication (optional) for added security.

Data & Compute:
- Connect your existing object data store.
- Configure your environment scaling settings.

Add credentials for your private Docker registry.

Review Your Organization Settings:
- In the Valohai web interface, go to “
Hi, <name>
”, then “Manage <organization>
.” - Open the “Settings” tab to review and adjust the following settings:
- Forbid personal projects (optional).
- Disallow public stores (optional).
- Change the default debug port (read more about this feature).
- Change the default commit and log stores.
