By following these steps, you can effectively manage access and quotas for different environments (machine types) within your Valohai organization. This control allows for efficient allocation of computational resources while ensuring that teams have the necessary access to complete their tasks.
Here’s a simple guide on how to manage team access and quotas for environments:

Access Organization Settings
- In the top-right corner of the screen, click on your username, which will display as “

Navigate to the Environments Tab
- Within the organization management interface, locate and click on the “Environments” tab.

Manage Team Quotas
- Click on the “Manage team quotas” button in blue to access the team quotas management section.

Configure Team Quotas
- In the team quotas management interface, follow these steps:
- Select Environment and Team: Use the drop-down menus to choose the specific environment and team you want to manage.
- Set Quota Value: Define the quota value, which represents the number of machines that the selected team can use in parallel within the chosen environment.
- Add Quota: Click the “Add” button to apply the defined quota to the environment and team.
Restrict Teams from using an environment
If you set the quota value to 0, the selected team will not be able to initiate any executions using that environment.
